Beyond his illness, I knew zilch about the film going in...and was very pleasantly surprised.
It's a great movie!
Don't let the poster confuse you; romance is the least of it. Most of it is about a young man, his loving mother, and their tireless quest for peace.
We can all rally around that. It's powerful. Not a dry eye in the house.
