The trailer looks horrible, but if the producer of The Black Phone and the director of The Invisible Man are behind it, well, heck, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, because I enjoyed both those films.
Another nit: Is it just me, or does Julia Garner look young enough to be Christopher Abbott's daughter rather than his wife?
p.s. Just saw it. The first half-hour is awesome: super-spooky setup, spine-tingling breathing/growling/stalking/chasing/roaring (like An American Werewolf in London), but every minute afterward is a slippery slope through schlock.
