Good gravy, WHAT A DOWNER!
Eesh, I'd heard so much about this "Sundance favorite," and while it's good...that's about it. Not great.
Fine acting, creative cinematography, 'okay' writing, but mostly so dang implausible.
The parents are more detached than imaginable, especially given some of the other clues.
I just think you'll see it and wonder, "How is this happening right now?"
Pass on the film, and you won't have to bother with that thought :-o
