The Safdie Bros do really good work (as evidenced by IMDB's 8.1 for this, their latest outing), so I was excited about Uncut Gems, and rightly so: it's quite fantastic.
BUT, freneticism is its core DNA, so if you don't like manic movies, please pass, lest you risk giving yourself (or others around you) a panic and/or heart attack!
For his part, Adam Sandler succeeds wildly at portraying an addled man off the rails and at the brink.
