Another film written by Juno's Diablo Cody, but unlike Juno (which was endearing, sweet, and meaningful), this outing feels too much like her prior collaboration with Charlize Theron (Young Adult, which was depressing and forgettable).
I did not know going in that Tully would be about postpartum depression, a psychotic break, and mental illness.
Now I know.
Too late.
Not a "feel good comedy," so beware or, more wisely, pass.
