p.s. Okay, 5/26 and we've seen it now, and it is INCREDIBLE. They don't make movies like this anymore, and to see Tom Cruise ageless 36 years after the original Top Gun and as physically capable as ever is truly inspiring. Prepare yourself for his all-out charm offensive, even though you don't stand a chance against it.
What a great flick, and just in time for Memorial Day.
When you're ready to have your hair peeled back and your eyes wide as saucers, Maverick will be right there, waiting for you, in this cinematic vehicle that is as close to a time machine as anyone has ever imagined.
