Madelaine Petsch is brilliant as Maya.
Everyone else is forgettable.
This is the fourth incarnation of Bryan Bertino's The Strangers (2008, 2018, 2021, 2024).
A fellow Texan (Crowley, TX) and UT grad, he's tapped into a horror seam and is mining it for all it's worth.
I like this franchise and look forward to the next two installments!
With Renny Harlin behind the camera, we're in good horror hands.
