Very cool, very creepy, very Aussie, and predicated—in part—on a true story.
A good film. Solid 8, despite IMDB's miserly 6.7.
Felt a lot like Michael Mann's brooding 2006 adaptation of Miami Vice: moody, ethereal, dark, foreboding, electrifying, and tense... so, if you loved that film (as I do), then boot up the ol' magic maker some night soon and meet The Stranger.
