This could have been super creepy, but as it is it's rather flat, thin, tinny, and brief!
Directed by Dave Franco (who, by the way, is now 34), the premise is interesting. Too bad its execution didn't have more wrinkles, depth, or unforeseeable nooks and crannies.
It's about as subtle as Jason Voorhees.
