Yes, great drama and some awesome action sequences, but so far it's nothing we haven't seen before.
Predicate on a successful video game, it's currently I Am Legend with actors from Friday Night Lights, Fringe, The Mandalorian, Parks and Recreation, Game of Thrones, plus Thandiwe Newton's mini-me daughter, Nico Parker.
The storyline is War of the Worlds, I am Legend, and The Road in a blender.
I shall keep watching it, as new episodes drop weekly (eight more to go!), and will simply have to come to terms with its "NBC-level" production value, which is to say, lower than usual HBO series, and more on par with broadcast TV.
