The Iceman Tapes: Conversations with a Killer (1992) was succeeded by&nbsp;<a href="https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0347228/?ref_=nm_knf_t_3" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Iceman Confesses: Secrets of a Mafia Hitman</a> (2001) and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0875695/?ref_=nm_knf_t_2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Iceman and the Psychiatrist</a> (2003).&nbsp;&nbsp;
As always, HBO documentarys are top-notch<span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Aptos',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: Aptos; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">&mdash;including their old stuff.&nbsp;
I sorta stumbled into watching these right after watching <a href="https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1491044/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_7_nm_1_q_the%2520iceman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Iceman</a> (2012) with Michael Shannon, and dang was he good.&nbsp;
I honestly believe Shannon did his best work before 2018's Knives Out. 
Everything after that somehow feels half-baked.
