A fantastic time at the movies!
You know it's going somewhere clever, but can't *quite* put your finger on it until it's too late. (At least, that was the case with me.)
And OMG, what peerless actors these two are! I couldn't take my eyes off them, and could slurp McKellen's accent up with ice cream and two mint leaves.
Pretty enthralling all the way 'round, evoking similar feelings as something on the order of 1965's Ten Little Indians + Presumed Innocent + The Talented Mr. Ripley + Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
p.s. If you think you know who these two are, here's a reminder of what they look like in real life. (Or, at least, dolled up for the recent press junket.) In short, they are chameleons, and here they get to flaunt it.
