I'll let you know when I'm done, but two hours into six I'm sitting with the feeling that most of these folks—no matter their earnestness or high ideals—are varying degrees of delusional and never more than two or three steps away from QAnon nonsense.
The whole scene reminds me a bit of Steve Martin's "Non-conformist Oath": "Now let's repeat the non-conformists' oath: I promise to be different! [audience repeats] I promise to be unique! [audience repeats] I promise not to repeat things other people say! [audience repeats, laughs] Good!"
