Sure, raw and gratuitous and the f-bombs flow like water, but this is a biopic, so it feels entirely necessary and real.
The acting is smooth and flawless.
The soundtrack is amazing. The audio itself—the sound itself—is better than Apocalypse Now.
It’s violent, and loud, but not bombastic.
Hard 'R.' Makes Scarface appear quaint.
Written by Ice Cube and Dr. Dre about their early years, it begins with a bang and ends whimsically, lyrically, beautifully.
