No need belaboring the obvious, as everyone's seen it by now: It's good, sometimes very good, has three 'great' moments, is factors better than offshoot Rogue One, and yet is never quite as good as the original '77 installment (if only because there's nothing quite like the first, whether it's a sip of Dr Pepper or that first bite of gritty-icing-encrusted Texas sheet cake).
