Satire is a really fine line, and on the wrong side of it lies brittle, boring dryness.
Greg Daniels (King of the Hill, The Office, and Parks and Recreation) usually runs about 65/35 finding the right side, though for 2020's Upload and Space Force he seems to be sputtering toward the other. I'm finding his latest ventures to be unwatchably boring.
Who knows, maybe they'll grow on me, but four episodes in on both is a really long time to wait for a payoff, and for all intents and purposes I abandoned Upload 2-3 weeks ago and have no current plans to continue Space Force.
