Ha!
Man, the trailer for this was killer. Do you remember?
It came on and all the dudes in the theater got excited.
Months later, finally saw the film, and yeah, Sisu puts a whoopin' on the Nazis, but try as it might, the film's just not mega-enuf to be, say, Tarantino-level.
As such, sure, thumbs up, cuz it's fun, but it's not nitro, which I guess is what I was hoping for.
For any of you certified cinephiles out there (my wife hates that word), Jorma Tommila (Sisu himself) is the father in the Finnish Christmas classic Rare Exports (originally titled Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale).
Granted, Rare Exports was made in 2010—and I'm not sure how long one must wait to certify something 'classic'—but nevertheless, just wanted to communicate that so it wouldn't drive you crazy trying to figure out where you recognize him from.
