Well, The Tender Bar motivated me to watch this old gem from 2007 starring Josh Hartnett and Samuel L. Jackson.
Both films sprang from writings by J.R. Moehringer.
Once Resurrecting the Champ began and I heard Jackson's falsetto voice, I remembered having seen it in theaters, but that didn't stop me from watching it again.
It's simple, sweet, and understated, but—irony of ironies—is nothing to write home about :-o
