I'm getting old.
Twice...TWICE, I have had tickets to see this and not gone because I fell asleep during the trailers.
Alas, our family sees it the day after Thanksgiving, so stay tuned!
p.s. Finally made it. Act I is fun. Act II is abominable, as is most of Act III. The final 10 minutes are fine.
So, in a nutshell: Cheesier than I'd like, with rather embarrassing FX and hammy acting, especially by Chris Evans, which is saying something, because The Rock is usually the hammiest ham in every scene. Not this time! Ugh.
