If we'd paid any attention to IMDB's rating, we would have stayed away.
Glad we didn't!
Sure, it's cheesy, hammy, and periodically lame, but on the whole we LOVED it.
I've since seen it again, so twice now.
Both times, I left feeling that much more inspired.
There are some great lessons in there if you look for them.
