An absolute blast!
It's 93 minutes long and I was transfixed for the first 60. (The rest is great, too, but the beginning is just fascinatingly riveting.)
It matters not one iota what you think politically or personally about Molly Ivins. All that matters is that she was a firebrand, a pistol, a courageous and brilliant and singular communicator worth reading and watching and hearing. The rest is immaterial.
Go forth, therefore, and see the movie. Revel in the joy of experiencing someone speaking her mind unvarnished and unfettered.
She passed in 2007, but her commentaries were prescient, and oh boy, would she have had a field day with safe spaces, getting triggered, and support peacocks aboard airplanes.
After God made Molly, He broke the mold.
