Something about this excites me.
Maybe it's the fact that this new chapter in the Predator franchise opens the door for the alien-tourist-warriors to fight Musashi Miyamoto and samurai, knights, Genghis Khan and Mongols, Spartacus and Spartans, Roman gladiators, vikings, Maoris, Alexander the Great, William Wallace, Vlad the Impaler, Richard the Lionheart, Vercingetorix, Napoleon, Custer, Hannibal Barca, Attila the Hun, Leonidas I, Gurkhas, the Nazis, the Soviets, Peshwa Bejirao, ninjas, you name it! How cool would all that be? The franchise could go on and on that way, literally, for decades.
Heck, while we’re dreaming, the franchise could even hop over and fight fictional foes like John Wick, Jason Bourne, 007, Ethan Hunt, the Kingsmen, Rocky Balboa, Ivan Drago, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Marvel characters, Darth Vader, Yoda, Gandalf, Legolas, Sauron, orcs, the Witch-king of Angmar, Michael Myers, Wolfman, zombies, or Deadpool for cryin’ out loud.
Fingers crossed this "only on Hulu" debuts well.

p.s. 08/06/22 update: We saw it and enjoyed it! Sure, it lacks the budget to compete with 'only in theaters' releases, but the premise and execution was solid. Looking forward to whatever they throw at us next!
