Season 2 from Taylor Sheridan is (so far) every bit as good as Season 1. And that's quite a feat. I don't know how he does it all.
We loved 1883, cannot get into 1923, and feel that Yellowstone has lost its way and veered into Dallas / Dynasty / Knots Landing soap opera-ish territory now. In hindsight, that series should have ended last season or the season before it, because now it's just "land, land, land," Beth's hysteria, and tropes-ville everywhere you turn.
So I looked to Mayor of Kingstown (Season 2) with cautious optimism, so imagine my delight when I completed the first episode and felt encouraged by it.
Go Mayor!
