It is growing on me, as Taylor Sheridan is great at all this raw, gritty stuff, but...two immediate nits:
1. I feel they've chosen to focus on the wrong brother.
2. After the sunlit, panoramic, wide open spaces and vistas of Yellowstone, a gray, bleak, inward-facing prison series sure feels dark and dank. Maybe claustrophobic is the whole point?
I'll let you know how I feel after, say, Episode 4. Assuming I survive that long.
p.s. I survived, and by Episode 5 I was eating my words. Having now completed the season finale (Episode 10), the next season cannot arrive soon enough :-)
