Hmm.
Very "high tea and pinky finger" and, therefore, I'm afraid, not quite my cup of tea.
I suppose the language is lyrical and beautiful, but the incessant conniving and manipulation is boorish and not quite worth the periodic laughter, infrequent as it is.
