What a weird, trippy, quirky, fantabulous little film! (Taika Waititi, by the way, is a gift to humanity.)
If Wes Anderson, the Coen brothers, and Yorgos Lanthimos had a brainchild, Jojo Rabbit would be its odder niece ;-)
It's incredibly clever and 100% fresh. I've rarely seen anything like it, though, yes, it does feel like something the aforementioned guys would create in their lab.
I laughed throughout and may have shed a tear or two. Hard to recall, as I was completely engrossed.
I do think you'll love it if you'll give it the time of day.
