I'd heard of this movie but never seen it.
Once I realized it was an early film by Denis Villeneuve, I was on it like a chicken on a Junebug.
And for good reason: It's great!
Based on a play, it is indeed about scorched earth and little fires—the sort that smolder for decades.

Loved Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin. She is phenomenal.
