A television rebirth of 2011's version (that featured Saoirse Ronan, Eric Bana, and Cate Blanchett), this new one promises to be so good, and I love that it reunites The Killing's Mireille Enos with Joel Kinnaman. They are wonderfully dark and broody together.
(Speaking of Kinnaman, I cannot wait until August's The Informer. It has an Equalizer vibe, which rocks.)
Anyhoo, 2019's Hanna is simple and small, but well-conceived. (And the hip, techno playlists are fantastic.)
Let's see how well they execute it across an entire season of seven more episodes, beginning in earnest on March 29th.
