We loved it!
Great message crafted with care.
I'm generally harsh on faith-based films because they're syrupy, clingy, obnoxiously sentimental and heavy handed, but Family Camp felt atypically authentic and did not come bearing the overt ornamentation that weighs similar films down.
This one also had the extra benefits of good acting, high production value, and snappy writing.
Lots of in-jokes for Ramsey listeners and the rest, while also being mainstream enough to draw crowds—and that's the ultimate point, right, because without moviegoers, there might as well be no message!
Do see.
