Loved it!
A hilarious, on-the-nose political comedy that perfectly satirizes the absurdity of our times: "The world's ending, I know, I know already, but can we please sit on the news for another three weeks so I can get a boost in the midterms?"
It's more a 'giggle throughout' than 'giggle snort' sort of movie, but it's true: most everyone chuckled and many guffawed :-)
Felt like something John Cleese, Graham Chapman, or Jon Stewart's The Daily Show woulda written with lots of knowing winks and nods.
With a star-studded cast, punchy writing, and wry delivery, it's an overall great escape. High energy and fun.
Do see it if you're still down after trudging through West Side Story.
Oh, and make sure to hang around. There are two stingers—one during the credits, another after.
