It's wrong on at least two levels (language and nudity), and in today's era it's wholly inappropriate and tone-deaf, but Eddie Murphy is hilarious as ever, and the film has a HUGE heart of ooey-gooey gold.
It's a message of kindness, equality, empowerment, perseverance, friendship, seeing beyond stereotypes, and leaning on/trusting/believing in others.
Just ignore all the f-bombs, or, as if it were a DeNiro-Pacino-Pesci-Scorsese sorta outing, at least try and look (or listen) past them.
I did it, and the film's intentions stuck to me like glue.
