Interestingly, it's 15 minutes longer than Charles Bronson's 1974 classic, but both are great reminders that short and punchy can be good!
Lauren and I loved it, though it's true: it really does snap to and fro in a very staccato fashion. Scene here, scene there, scene scene everywhere; zero transitional effort or connective tissue.
I suppose that, in part, explains its nearly year-long delay.
Alas, it packs a wonderfully gratifying wallop by cutting right to the chase: "Are you the ice cream man?" Then bam: vigilante justice, Willis-style.
