On the one hand, there's tons of poor, periodically cringeworthy acting and outright cheese.
On the other hand, I adore Zahn McClarnon, and he's perfect here.
So, on the whole, I recommend it and am enjoying it; just don't blame me when it slides now and again across that black ice.
Or when it disappoints many in the Navajo nation who have, in newspaper interview after newspaper interview, trashed its inaccuracies, offenses, and inauthenticity.
You can please some of the people some of the time, but ain't no chance in hell of pleasing everyone all the time.
