Not bad, but having grown up with Sylvester Stallone, anything in the Rocky canon without him (including Creed III) feels thin, derivative, and inauthentic. Or like a betrayal, including his last-minute inclusion by Irwin Winkler as an Executive Producer as an olive branch. I admit to my bias.
And while I like Michael B. Jordan, and Jonathan Majors is obviously on a hot streak, I’m saturated. Between Devotion, Ant-Man, and Creed III (all since November 23rd)…it’s too much Jonny!
