A solid start, then it gets boring, and eventually I just had this sinking feeling like Oh dang, that coulda been so much better!
It was missing that extra oomph. WITH that oomph, it coulda felt like some berserk Quintin Tarantino instant classic, but nope...no oomph, therefore no instant classic.
