It grows on you.
I barely made it through the first episode of this multi-episode limited series, but something positive kept niggling at me, so I stayed at it.
About halfway through the second episode, something clicked and I fell in love with it.
The detectives are German, so it took me a while to dial into their accent and begin to feel alongside 'em, which is key to caring, so once that tumbler fell into place, the lock opened right up.
Same goes for you: If the first episode doesn't wow ya, hang in there.
Eventually, I believe, the show will grow on you as well.
