What a joyous, fun-filled, earnestly entertaining experience this film is!
Buoyant. Absolutely buoyant.
We laughed, we cried, we held our breath, we cheered.
Everyone in the theater loved it. It's a real crowd-pleasing, feel-good story.
I barely knew it existed, wondering a couple weeks ago what Woody Harrelson was so poorly promoting as host of SNL, so the film's a real sleeper, but a gem.
Do see it if you can, or if you need an emotional pick-me-up. I'm sure it'll run at least one more week.
Plus, with a 2 hour and 3 minute runtime, it's ample escape from one's everyday.
Champions is full of life, sincerity, and celebrating the tiny wins, not just gold medals or grand gestures.
