Lotta hype, and maybe the cinematic execution was fine to good to great, but I'll never know because the characters' lousy choices made it impossible for me to care.
Like Cher in 1987's Moonstruck, I wanted to slap everyone on screen and shout, "SNAP OUT OF IT!"
Oh well.
Gump got it right when he said, "Stupid is as stupid does," and by that benchmark, this trio of characters is dumb as swamp stumps.
