Reminds me a lot of The West Wing (or anything by Aaron Sorkin, for that matter, without all the clunky and pretentious dialogue) or anything by Dick Wolf.
AND, given its resurgence in popularity (thanks to Netflix), it's being dusted off nine years after the fact and returning anew for Season Four in 2022.
