Fantastic!
I was so utterly absorbed.
I learned a lot!
I made tons of mental notes throughout, eager to call my parents after to inquire their recollections and impressions of one Bobby Kennedy.
Needless to say, their version fell like a rock from the sky compared to my idealized, Camelot 2.0, what might have been fantasy when my dad remarked, "Well, he was no Jack."
Reminded me of that wicked burn during the 1988 vice-presidential debate when Lloyd Bentsen said to Dan Quayle (in response to Quayle invoking the name of John F. Kennedy), "Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy."
Ouch.
I guess it's true what Ricky Bobby said in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby: "Always remember, if you ain't first, you're last."
