It is energizing, perfect plastic.
Just don't mistake it for a puff piece, because it is satire of the highest order.
Lots of folks have been whipping themselves into a lather over the "patriarchy" mess, but the film is hardly man-hating. It is, instead, pro-woman.
These things are not mutually exclusive, nor are they zero-sum.
My guess is, given a large box office take, there will be more toy bins raided for future stories.
Like Toy Story, this one's got legs.
