Yikes; no words.
A devastating, heartwrenching, hollowing film.
It plods along slowly, zero background music and very little tension, but then—eventually—it grabs you by the lapels, lifts you to the ceiling, shakes your last coin from your pockets, and tosses you wrenched on the floor in a puddle of tears.
Nazis. Those damned Nazis.
See it for History, to remember and never forget.
“Cowards die many times before their deaths. The valiant never taste of death but once.”
