Not great, but really good.
Too long and boring to be great, and Michelle Williams' character is terribly unlikable. It defies logic to portray a person so unsympathetically when the very aim is to engender sympathy!
Oh well.
(And gosh, those Gettys. How terribly dysfunctional, self-destructive, lost, and sad. Wikipedia them and read their tales of woe.)
Christopher Plummer is fabulous here, as always, and steady as a rock. The many scenes from which Kevin Spacey has been expunged are virtually flawless, proving once again that no actor is indispensable, regardless his chops or legend.
