Baffling, absolutely baffling.
Why (on God's Green Earth) would a Shakespearean actor as talented as Kenneth Branagh create such a contrivance and get lost in wigs and beards and wardrobe?
Ludicrous, just ludicrous.
There are some beautiful lines, and Ian McKellen has a neat little scene, but otherwise it just feels fake-fake-fake and drivel-like.
Dang!
Once again, an opportunity missed to tell us something new (or at least newly) about the brilliant old Bard.
