Cody McCommas
Cody McCommas is an Executive Coach, Consultant and Faculty Member for Leath Group, LLC—a dynamic curriculum development and intellectual property greenhouse that grows leaders and shapes cultures.
Cody is also the founder and managing partner of Texas Live Crawfish, a dealer of mudbugs and festivities across North Texas. In 20 years of cheffing, authoring, entrepreneuring, leading, pastoring, consulting and teaching, Cody has furrowed much earth where the seeds of expertise (ranging from emulsifying a broken hollandaise to managing organizational culture change) have sprouted. This broad experience and skill set along with his high energy and pure extraversion have esteemed him as a 'jack of all assets.'
In efforts to faithfully avoid workaholism Cody delights in such things as backgammon, foster & adoption advocacy, hockey (yes, roller hockey counts), cookbook collecting, various board games old and new, honing his front pin in foosball, trying to keep just one hull of his Hobie catamaran in the water, cooking whole animals over live fire, and contemplating the ever-elusive perfect meal.
Cody holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of North Texas and an AAS in Culinary Arts from The Art Institute of Houston.
Cody lives in Denton, TX and is undeserving of his wonderful wife and two daughters.
